Me!
UX Designer, Artist, Museologist, Puzzle aficianado

Why do I love UX?

I love a good puzzle: turning chaos and confusion into order and clarity. I'm motivated by a desire to be useful and help those around me, which helps me empathize with and focus on the user, but also makes me a great team player! I have endless ideas, and am overflowing with creative energy. I want to learn all the things!

The combination of curiosity, drive, and empathy make me great at what I do.

What puzzles can we solve together?

Educated at the University of Toronto
I studied UX at the University of Toronto iSchool alongside the very first class to graduate with the Master's of UX Design! I earned my Master's in Museum Studies in 2017, with particular focus on locative media in cultural heritage sites.
Professional experience with world-class travel brands
Fresh out of grad school, I got a UX job with VERB Interactive. There, I was privileged to work with clients such as Margaritaville, Experience Kissimmee, Hilton Head Island, Azamara Cruises, and more.
Award-winning researcher
My team was awarded the Royal Ontario Museum Visitor Engagement Award in 2017 for our work on a formative visitor study for the "Bloodsuckers" exhibit. The techniques used in visitor studies are nearly identical to those of formative user research.
Experience with...
-
Wireframing: for world-class travel brands at VERB Interactive
-
Information Architecture: I've built logical information structures for projects at VERB, Enter the Bunker, and PAPER Education
-
Prototyping: Through personal projects I've mastered Figma's robust prototyping capabilities, and have had the opportunity to build InVision prototypes for clients at VERB
-
Personas: I've used personas in numerous projects from grad school to PAPER to personal tasks
-
Booking flows: One of my core responsibilities with VERB was optimizing booking flows on travel websites
-
More: User journey maps, empathy maps, site audits, competitive sets...I've had experience with numerous UX tools and techniques—and even bring a few museum tricks of the trade.
